Rolled-up french toasts with comté cheese and black cherry confit

Ingredients

  • 1 black cherry confit Favols

  • 8 large slices of sandwich bread

  • 100 g of Comté cheese

  • 50 ml of liquid cream

  • 20g butter

  • 1 egg

  • Salt


Preparation


  1. Roll out the slices of sandwich bread very thinly using a rolling pin

  2. Cut the crust

  3. Cut 8 sticks about 1 cm thick in the cheese

  4. Spread a first slice of the confit, arrange a stick of cheese on one edge, then roll up

  5. Whisk the egg and the cream. Season

  6. Melt the butter in a large pan

  7. Dip each roll in the egg and cream mixture

  8. Put them in the pan

  9. Brown the rolls on all sides over medium heat
